blue blankies

I never know what I am going to find when I open the fridge. I took a picture so that later when he is screaming for his blue blankie and his Winston doggie I will remember where I saw them!

Some great Bennett moments

The last few weeks have been filled with many exciting times in our household. The top being that William was recently named Airman of the Year for the 98th Range Wing!! I am sorry I don't have any pictures of the ceremony. I have been waiting to blog this until I got the pictures but they have yet to be given to me. Now that William won the Airman of the Year for the 98th Range Wing he was put up for the Airman of the Year for Nellis Air Force Base. Last Thursday William had to be interviewed by 5 Chiefs. He was real nervous since it has to be such a formal event where everything has to be done with military precision. When he walked in he did it perfect, but once he go in front of the Chiefs he went in to the at ease position instead of parade rest(now do realized I am not sure if those are the terms, it could very easily been something different, a military guru I am not!). He quickly caught his mistake, but it threw him off and when he went to introduce himself he messed up again!! But then it got more casual and he was interviewed. The interview went perfect and he left on a really great note. Well he was nervous because he did mess up in the beginning but we found out yesterday that he had no reason to doubt. William won Airman of the Year for Nellis Air Force Base!!!! There will be a ceremony some time in April and so I will put up pictures then. He now goes up to compete for Airman of the Year for the ACC bases and then after that there are one more and then Airman of the Year for the whole Air Force. We are so thrilled that he did so well. We will see what the future brings, but for now we are so thankful that he works for such a great Wing and that he has great leadership that encourage him to be the best. He has worked real hard this year and I feel that he truly deserves all that can be given to him!

Since I don't have any pictures of the Airman of the Year for the 98th, I thought this picture was super cute!
Baby James has been so good these last few weeks at going peepee in potty!! He really has gotten the hang of potty training. He loves going peepee in the potty. He doesn't even ask for his M&M's anymore, although the other kids all do!! When James goes in the bathroom all the kids follow because they know that they will get one M&M when he is done. So they follow like herd animals waiting for their treat! Hopefully it will help Eddie and Azlin when it comes time to work with them!! Yesterday James even went poopy in the potty! He went in all by himself and by the time I realized that he was going to the bathroom he was done! I am so excited to be almost done with diapers! It is so awesome! So go JJ!!
Lil'Will has also had an exciting few weeks. Two weeks ago they bumped Will up in gymnastics. Instead of being in the Tot class they moved him to the 5&6 year old class. I will admit I was nervous that it may be to hard or that his little attention span wouldn't do well, but he proved me wrong Lil'Will loves it. The program director teaches the class and he is wonderful. He has a real love for the boys and helps them do everything just right. Lil'Will is working on handstands, the bars and rings. It amazes me how strong he is. He really is just like his Daddy. He looks small, but man is he strong! I am so impressed with his work level and how much he loves it. He would go everyday if we could afford it!

Lil'Will also started preschool yesterday! I know that I am super late at getting him started but I just didn't want to let go. Its the truth. I missed him so much while he was gone yesterday, but he definitely did not miss me! He loved his class. William dropped him off. Lil'Will ran straight outside and began playing with two little kids. While Lil'Will played William went to talk to his teacher and see how the program works. Well, Lil'Will saw this and goes up to William and goes, "Daddy! I said bye! You can go now!" He is such a little stinker!! When I went to pick him up he was playing with two little boys. He then continued to point out all the kids in his class and how they all were his new friends! James freaked out when we left because he also wanted to go to school and play! Poor James he can't wait to be three and be allowed to go to preschool and soccer. Next fall will be a busy time for that little boy!

These are all of our exciting news. I couldn't be more proud of all of my boys!! I love them so much and I am really excited about all their accomplishments! I am so thankful for what an amazing family the Lord has given me. They are my greatest blessings!
