Already a Clive Cussler Fan

So this is some thing that happens frequently. We get him already for bed and while we get his brother dressed he runs and grabs a Clive Cussler book and reads!
He can't wait to read his new book!
Oh, it is so fascinating!

It was so good he read it in one sitting!

Willow Beach

So the next weekend after I had gone to the beach in Havasu with the boys William had some time off so we went in search of a beach near Vegas. We looked up some sites online and thought that we had done some good research. Well it turns out that we didn't do so well. We ended up going to a beach on the Colorado river, after the Hoover Dam. The water was very cold and the beach was just a bunch of rocks. Not very fun for the boys. We left after an hour in search of another beach. Which ended up just being a loading dock for boats. So we basicly drove for about and hour and a half and were not able to find anything good. We wished afterwards that we had just gone to Havasu since we know that the water is warm and the beaches are sandy!

Here is Lil'Will all decked out in he Lightening McQueen swim wear. He picked it out himself at Target. We weren't able to leave the store without it. He seriously carried it through the whole store and then didn't want to hand it to the lady at the check out in case she didn't return it to him!
So it was night time in this picture until William took off his shirt and turned it into day!

Baby James kept wanting to go into the water. It was very cold, but he wanted to stand there!

Lil'Will saw his brother standing in the water and wanted to try. He ran screaming from the water like we tried to kill him! He is definitely a warm climate child.

This is my flying baby!

They built a retaining wall and William is practicing on becoming a flamingo!

William decided to buy some ice cream type treat that are little nuggets, anyways you can't eat something without Baby James screaming until he gets some. So you can see how happy he is after getting an ice cream treat from Daddy!

Videos from the beach

Here are some videos of the kids at the beach. These are more for the grandparents than anything else.

A day at the beach

To get little Will to even agree to leaving Nana's house with me I had to bribe by taking him to the beach and buy him some beach toys! So here are some of the pictures of us at Rotary Beach in Lake Havasu. Lil'Will had a very good time and enjoyed playing with his new sand toys. This was baby James first time to the beach and he very much enjoyed eating the sand.

So excited to dig in the sand.
Oh my goodness! Mom put me in a big pile of dirt!

And it even tastes good!

He filled up this truck with sand and water several times.
He is so cute!!

While Little Will is away Baby James will play!

Little Will was able to spend a weekends at Nana's house a couple of weekends ago. He had a great time! So great in fact that it took almost a week for him to detox from her house. So I am not sure if I will be letting him go again by himself for a while. He was able to play and be pampered at all times. But baby James and I enjoyed spending a quiet weekend at home while Daddy worked. It was really nice to spend some quality time with just baby James. But I will tell you that I severly missed my little boy while he was gone. Here are some of the pictures of James having fun while Will was away.

Lil'Will does not like it when James goes near his car so of course one of the first things that James wants to play with is the car!! He was so happy to be allowed to touch it!

We also got into trouble by emptying a box! He was so proud of himself that he was able to get in it!

Enjoying a lunch of cheese and avocado.

Not everything was fun and games. He did get stuck in the laundry basket!

Pushing the chair around is so much fun!

Oh, and he was actually able to get in the car and pretend to drive! Pure heaven!

Our little Picasso!

So Lil'Will loves to color. He would color all day long if we let him. He either wants to color on paper or color outside with chalk. But I am pretty sure his favorite medium to color on is his brother! I was putting laundry away and when I came back this is what I saw!

This is the back side of James head.

See the nice long brush strokes.
It would be fine if this was the first and last time this happened. But ever since he found out how fun it was to color on his brother I have to be diligent in making sure that they are not left alone together with the markers. He also loves to color on himself!

Adventures of the Frog Man, Frog Boy and the tadpole!

Frog Man was created as a way to get Lil'Will out of the bath at night. Lil'Will gets very excited when William puts on the bath towel and is instintly transformed into FROG MAN! Frog Man ribbits and twirls around his cape and hides children who don't want to get ready at night from the dreadful mommy! Lil'Will will hide in daddy's chest then pop out and scream ribbit! He loves it!

The Frog Man pose after a successful night of getting ready for bed. Notice the Frog Boy is also in his Frog pajamas!
The sweet kisses of being loved!

So happy to play together!

Even the tadpole gets a little loving!

The Easter egg hunt

Here are two videos of Lil' Will and his friend Savanah searching for eggs in our backyard. They had such a good time that they wanted us to do it again and again!

Easter Morning

Here is Baby James looking all cute in his easter outfit! It was Will's outfit from last year!!
Lil'Will got a Diego blanket with his easter basket.

Baby James super excited about his easter basket.

Lil'Will told us that Santa brought his easter basket! So cute!

The boys enjoying thier easter splendor. In the background on the right is the blanket that I made for James for easter.

Easter eggs!

Here are some of the eggs that Lil'Will colored for easter! He loved it so much that for the next week every morning he would wake up and ask to color eggs!

Instead of putting the stickers on the eggs he put them on his hands and then he would randomly put them all over the house. I am still not sure if I have found them all!
Here are some fo the finished product.

A camping we may go!

So after living in homemade tents for about two months William decided that it was time to put up a real tent in our living room. Lil'Will thought this was the best decision in the whole world! He loves going in there and playing or locking out his brother. The down side is that it takes up any floor space in our living room. We actually now have the tent in Lil'Will's bedroom. Now there is absolutely now space in his room! I am dying to take it out but Lil'Will loves having it to play in.
