A post of funny stories

We had some funny things happen this weekend.

Yesterday William and I were hanging out on the bed with baby James. James has a nipple that has a bit of milk stuck in it at the end. The doctor told us to use a rough loofa on it and it will brush the bit of milk out. Well it hasn't yet. Since James didn't have a shirt on and William saw an opportunity he tried to squeeze the nipple to see if he could get the milk out. James looks up at his Dad and puts his arm out and yells, "No Daddy! My nipple"! Oh my! William and I couldn't stop laughing. He definitely told his daddy no! William was like thankfully there weren't any police around to misinterpret that!

Than today I was making cookies with the boys. They love to help me cook and the especially love to make cookies with me since they love to grind the oatmeal up for the cookies. Today while we were making the dough they would stop me so they could taste it. They each stuck a finger in and tasted. Then James says, "Mmmm.. Delicious mommy"! I was caught off guard by the fact that he said delicious that I said, "What"? He says, "Delicious"!! My heart skipped a beat and I instantly thought I will always make you cookies! How easy it is to manipulate this mommy!

This next story is about Lil'Will. Lil'Will is actually really computer savvy. He loves to play Farm Town and Farm Ville on facebook. We even made him his own account so he could play his own farms. Of course he is only friends with us but he loves it. Yesterday he saw that I was on facebook and asked if he could play on our Farm Ville, since he wanted to play the girl. So I put on the game and then went to change James diaper. He sometimes clicks on the wrong things and needs some help. He asked for some help and I said in a minute. Then when I was done he said he had fixed it and was ok. He was playing the game when I checked. Then late last night I went back on facebook and saw that I had a message from our old neighbor, Lainie. Apparently when LilWill posted a very long message for her with lots of jumbly letters! I am amazed that he was able to click on comment, write a message and then click on comment again! He continues to amaze us!

When we came home from play group there were all these bobs working behind our house. Lil'Will hasn't left the back yard since. It is his version of prime time tv.

Keepers of the Wild nature park

On Saturday we went up to a nature park called Keepers of the Wild. It is about 30 minutes outside of Kingman, AZ. The nature park is a rescue for exotic animals. There were about 30 Bengal tigers, a lion, some deer, a llama, some monkeys, some turtles, a snake, a burro, some racoons, a couple pot belly pigs and other animals. They told us why they have so many Bengal tigers is because they get a lot of them from the people who do the pictures with baby tigers, from fairs and circuses, after 6 months they can't use the tigers anymore so they either sell them off or give them to rescues like this one. We got there in the afternoon and we were able to watch as they feed the animals their evening meal! James was so excited to see the animals. When we got there we had a picnic lunch and James refused to eat cause he wanted to see the animals. Mom brought her wagon to carry the cooler on and the boys took it over after lunch. James wanted to pull his brother all around the park. We got to see a fight between the lion and some tigers. the lion Sultan kept egging on the tigers in the area next to him. The tigers really liked Lil'Will and James, they would stalk them! I could just see their little minds going, "yum, lunch!" The one white tiger really liked me and so I have a bunch of pictures of him. After the nature park we went in to Kingman and there is a retired train that the boys climbed and explored. James fell asleep in the car from the nature park to the train after he woke up the camera battery died so I don't have any pictures of him at the train. I do have some on my phone so i will have to post those separately. After running around the train we went across the street and ate at the famous Mr. D'z diner. Oprah ate there while taking her trip on route 66. The do great sweet potato fries and homemade root beer! We had a great weekend, but we are still tired from it! So far we have lounged around the house watching movies and playing with the Lincoln logs. I love a good lazy Monday after a very busy couple of months!

He is showing me something, but I am not sure what.
Checking out the big tigers.
Little Will took a moment to relax and read the map!
One of the tigers eating his dinner. They throw the meat over the fence and most times the tigers catch it mid air. Once I stood a little too close and it rained blood on me!! Super yuck!
This is my best friend. Isn't he just beautiful!

Lil'Will and James calling the tigers over with, "Here kitty, kitty!"

My Totally Awesome Super Sexy Husband!

I am totally and undeniably proud of my sweet husband! William passed his test for becoming a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force!! I have never seen William study so hard for anything in his life and it paid off. He did very well and actually had a nice cushion when it was all over! Unfortunately, it will take a almost a year for him to sew on his new rank. The way that they figure out who puts rank on first is they take your time in service and combine it with your score and they rank them. William has very little time in the military so he will be one of the last one to put on his new rank! He will have 3 1/2 years in the service when he becomes a Staff Sergeant!! It is very hard to pass the test the first time you take it, so we were a bit nervous. I was so impressed with how well he did with the section of job knowledge. He did better than 93% of the people who took the test!! I could not be prouder of him! Yea William!! From now on he will be called Staff Sergeant Select, meaning that he has taken the Staff test and passed, until he puts on his new rank! What got me was that we started to receive phone calls congratulating him at 6 this morning!! I finally took the phone off the hook so the boys could sleep! So if you have a moment please congratulate William on his great feat!

From the mouth of babes!

Lil'Will: "Mom, I have two underwears on!"
Me: "Did you put on an extra pair when you dressed yourself this morning?"
Lil'Will: "I must have! I don't know what happened!"

Then he comes down the hall to show me! What a cute little boy!

My carpet dreamer

I was vacuuming the living room floor and I thought I'd also vacuum my bath rug as well as the play rug in the play room. Afterwards I got distracted by the boys and I forgot to put them back. A little later I come in the living room and find James asleep on the play rug. The crazy part is that it was like 10 am. Not even nap time! After I took the pictures I carried him off to bed where he took an awesome nap. The carpet dreaming did him good!

Baby James' birthday party with friends

Baby James had a great birthday party. Since he is way into Diego it was Diego themed. We had a pool and a slip and slide outside for our little adventurers. We tried to play some games but they are still a little too young for that. We will try again at Will's party.

Us singing Happy Birthday to him.
Lil'Will going down the slip and slide
James running down the slip and slide.
James' Diego cake. He made me light up his candles so he could blow them out about 50 times after the party! It was crazy! At the party we let all the kids have a chance of blowing out the candles as well. It is the best part!

Beaching at Lake Mead!

One of the boys favorite things to do is go to Lake Mead and play at boulder beach. It really isn't a nice beach. There is trash and lots of rocks, but the boys love playing in all the sand. In these pictures we went with the Rhineharts. The kids had a great time playing together and since it was over 112 that day it was a nice way to stay cool in the hot weather. I have to admit that the boys and I stayed so long that our sunscreen wore off and they boys got slight burn, but I ended up with a second degree burn on my back. It is still red and scary!! It has been over an month since we did this!

Daddies little helpers

These are just some cute pics of the boys. Mostly of Lil'Will "helping" Daddy mow the lawn.

James loves to play with the little Diego figures. Here he is showing them off.
This is My favorite picture in the bunch! I love it! I love the action of Will running.

Scuba James

When we were in Havasu for Ambers baby shower William and the boys had such a good time in the pool. The only time when they weren't in the pool was when they were napping, sleeping or eating. Lil'Will was doing flips off the diving board and everything. I have that on video, so I will post those later! These were supposed to go the other way so you could see the progress of him jumping in the pool!

William wearing a star inflatable while in the deep end. It made it easier to catch the boys and stay above the water line.

Seriously, I could not love him more!

Birthday poppers

For my birthday Dad sent some poppers for us to use while celebrating. He also sent some colored smoke bombs, which the boys loved! In fact Little Will keeps making little balls of paper for us to light up! After we did the smoke bombs we came inside and popped the poppers while dancing around yelling, "Party! Party!" It was a lot of fun! Thanks Papaw for the fun birthday box.

Two little burritos

One day the boys thought it would be fun to use mommy's yoga mat as a toy. They had a ton of fun rolling them selves up like a burrito. They also loved rolling each other up.

That is one meaty burrito
Lil'Will rolled all the way down the hall!

We went to play group today. It was a ton of fun. First we played with water and then we made these super cool shades and visors. The boys had a ton of fun. The best part is that the play group is all boys! So there is lots of wrestling and bobs!
